The need to have a budding Ivory Tower, like the Taraba State University, Jalingo to be a place of excellence, comes equally with a steadfast management team armed with sound mission and vision, that tally with best international practices in terms of managing resource (human and financial) investments and partnerships.

TSUJ is not just a citadel of learning; it is a tall dream and legacy bequeathed this generation of Tarabans and generations yet unborn by one of the finest leaders, Late Governor Danbaba Danfulani Suntai, COON.

TSUJ MUST therefore be supported and nurtured to maturity as a memorial and a sign of posthumous honour for the lone standing physical landmarks of his administration. The foundation for the realization of this has been laid albeit unknown to many. The coming of the incumbent Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas and the VC Taraba State University can be said to be an act of providence as they happened to be the founding fathers of the “NEW HOPE AGENDA” for the University as seen in the past few months of their stewardship and, simply put, Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas is supporting, Digital Prof. Sundy Bako is working TSUJ is moving like gallion in full sail!

What remains to be seen is for the staff to hold fast to the renewed commitment for excellence, the students to keep the emerging crest of excellence from falling and the University host community to uphold its role as guardian of the security of lives and facilities of the University.

It is said no monument smells with the sweat of the builders, it shines with the polished vision of its founder.

Welcome to another rich package of TSUJ WATCH insightful coverage of happenings on Campus with major stories on the VC and his management teams’ rigorous call to duty for the accreditation exercise.

Happy Reading.
