Dr. Bulus Onesimus Shiaki is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration of Taraba State University, Jalingo. Born on 12th October 1965 at Takum, Dr Shiaki hails from Ussa Local Government Area of Taraba State.
As an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education, he bagged his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mathematics Education from Benue State University, Makurdi. His quest for further education took him to Nasarawa State University, Keffi, where he bagged a PhD in Mathematics Education in 2016.
Dr Shaiki is a registered teacher with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and has more than 30 years of work experience across the private and public sectors. He held several positions at the University, such as Sandwich Coordinator, Director, Advancement and Endowment, and Dean of Education. A position he held before he was appointed the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration.
As a recipient of so many awards, Dr Shiaki has over 30 publications in reputable books and journals published locally and internationally.
He is a devout Christian married to Mrs Christiana O. B. Shiaki, and the union is blessed with three kids. He plays table tennis in his leisure time.
