- All candidates who chose TARABA STATE UNIVERSITY as their First Choice in JAMB
- Scored a minimum of 150 in UTME
- Possess at least five (5) O’Level credits including English and Mathematics
- Have completed their application payment

Use your JAMB Registration Number as Username and choose a password
You’ll need to upload clear scanned copies of the following:
- O’Level result(s) (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
- JAMB Result Slip
- Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
- Indigene Letter
- Recent Passport Photograph
- Direct Entry candidates: ND/NCE/A’ Level result(s)
- NIN
Yes, the portal is open on the 1st August, 2025 and will close 15th September, 2025.
Most portals allow edits before final submission. If you’ve already submitted, send a complaint to the support email or visit the admissions office.
Taraba State University, Jalingo conducts online screening exercise only.
After submission, your status will be marked “Screening Completed”.
Admission status will be available on:
- JAMB CAPS Portal
- University Admission Portal
Ensure you accept your admission on CAPS when offered.
DE candidates must follow the same portal process but upload their advanced level result(s) such as ND/NCE/HND/A’Level.
Yes. You can combine two sittings only, as long as all required subjects are covered.

Only candidates who chose Taraba State University as their First Choice in JAMB are eligible. However, you may do a Change of Institution on the JAMB portal and re-apply.
If your JAMB score is 150 and above, allow 24-72 hours after effecting changes on JAMB before trying again. If it still doesn’t reflect, contact admissioncomplaints@tsuniversity.edu.ng with proof of the change.
Ensure you typed it correctly. If the problem persists, it may mean:
- You are not yet in the school’s JAMB list
- You chose a different institution
Contact support with your JAMB result and registration details.
Yes. You can save your progress and return to complete the application before the deadline.
Your passport photo must be:
- Recent (within 6 months)
- White background
- Not more than 100kb in size
- In JPEG/JPG format
Yes, but it’s strongly recommended to use a computer for better visibility and ease during document upload.
Yes. A confirmation message will appear on the screen.
Click “Forgot Password” on the login page. Follow the steps to reset your password using your registered email or phone number.
After uploading, preview your submissions. If they appear clearly, then they were successfully uploaded. You can also edit or replace documents before final submission.
Yes. Print and keep the Screening Acknowledgment Slip or Application Summary Page. You’ll need it for future reference or clearance.
You may lose your chance for admission that year. However, the university may consider late screening, usually with a penalty fee—if announced.
Yes. You must also upload your results on JAMB CAPS for your admission to be processed. Visit any accredited CBT center to do so.
